Patch notes and updates

Sources checked Ludogram posts on the Steam news feed for AppID 3883570, from the June 2026 demo patches through V0.44.13 on 18 Oct 2026.

Quick answer

Early Access started 8 Oct 2026. The same day the studio shipped V0.44.7 and V0.44.8. The newest note in this set is V0.44.13 on 18 Oct 2026.

V0.44.12 on 17 Oct added Custom Mode after the Game Master board. It does not pay you.

The launch roadmap still promises Abyss, Space, a third unnamed theme, and more than ten new monsters. Those are plans, not patches.

Demo history matters for one creature: the Yeti Board arrived 10 Aug 2026, before the paid release.

Dates below follow the Steam news timestamps as reported by SteamDB and SteamPeaks when this page was written. Open the news hub if a newer build has landed since 18 Oct 2026. This is a summary of official notes, not a paste of every depot hash.

Early Access

V0.44.13 — 18 Oct 2026

Bug fixes. The plant monster’s tentacles no longer crash the game. Batched GPU skinning was disabled for stability. Two mystery boards will not show at once. The join screen warns if your version is old. Some missing public lobbies were fixed. A multiplayer softlock on entering a board or the shop was fixed.

V0.44.12 — 17 Oct 2026 — Custom Mode

Thank-you feature for players who have filled out the collection. After the Game Master board, pull the lever in the collection room. Combine unlocked boards, House Rules, and monster figurines. Dying does not penalize you. Winning does not pay. You return to the last round either way.

V0.44.11 — 15 Oct 2026

Hosts can kick. Portraits show player stats. Long board-rule lists scroll. An Epic Online Services networking option exists for people who cannot use Steam networking. Steam stays the default. The yeti-stuck bug, a cocooned penguin explosion, saves that dropped upgrades, VSync not sticking, drifting doors, level design, and general stability were in the fix list.

V0.44.10 — 12 Oct 2026

Multiplayer softlocks, endless spectating, and duplicate turns after a disconnect. Disconnected players drop carried items. Room collisions, gaps, navigation, and blocked item spawns. Steam crashes, subtitle dialog stalls, visual-effect errors, and controller menu scrolling. Windows builds are signed.

V0.44.9 — 9 Oct 2026

New subtitle options, better gamepad support, lobby browser fixes. Save tutorials in the game room. A gather-die teleport on zone change. Negative money. The boulder event is slightly easier. Room and art fixes.

V0.44.8 — 8 Oct 2026

Save selection always opens when you host, even if you have no file. The empty option is labeled New Save. After the first checkpoint, the pause menu says how long ago the run was saved. The Game Saved notice is larger and stays up one second longer.

V0.44.7 — 8 Oct 2026, launch day

Steam networking: the studio downgraded the Steam SDK to fix some connections, and added a clearer error when Steam itself is out of date. Gameplay lines that name systems: Near Death no longer makes you drop items, blessed dice no longer stay yellow on dead players, quicksand is less punishing, a rare post-board teleport was fixed, Musical Idols have a wider timing window, the Inverted Controls Idol will not spawn in the boulder event, closets open and shut faster, a Bonneteau exploit was patched, controller icons were added to tooltips, and a bad interaction between scanner and invisibility effects was fixed. New audio: female hurt sounds, cocoon breathing, and an inventory-slot switch. Map geometry fixes.

Launch post — 8 Oct 2026

The paid announcement. Four themes, the content counts, the $12.99 / €12.99 / £11.75 price, a 25% launch discount, and a horror bundle with Devour, Species: Unknown, and Dark Hours. The roadmap in that post is quoted on Boards.

Roadmap and price — 28 Sep 2026

The same four themes and the same future list, with the Early Access clock set to 8 October, 9:00 British Summer Time.

What the next content patch is supposed to be

Ludogram’s store FAQ, still up on 21 Oct 2026, says Early Access should run about a year, with updates built around new themes. The planned names remain Abyss, Space, and one unannounced theme, plus more monsters, idols, dice, shop stock, House Rules, and lore. No date is attached to the first of those themes in the posts above.
