Boards and the house

Sources checked Ludogram’s 28 Sep 2026 roadmap post, the 8 Oct 2026 launch post, the 10 Aug 2026 Yeti Board demo post, and patches V0.44.12 and V0.44.13.

Quick answer

Early Access launched with four named themes: Haunted Manor, Jungle, Icy Mountain, and Desert. Each is supposed to bring its own dangers. The studio did not publish a monster roster per theme.

Clearing the collection leads to the Master Board, also called the Game Master board in the Custom Mode patch.

Custom Mode arrived in V0.44.12 on 17 Oct 2026. Beat that board, pull a lever in the collection room, and mix boards, House Rules, and monster figurines you have unlocked. Wins and losses there do not pay or punish.

The store blurb also says the house has a jungle, an ice mountain, and an oversized toy chest. That list is not the same four names. This page does not invent a toy-chest board.

Invokyr’s “maps” are boards in a collection, not open-world regions. You play one, survive it, and the shop opens. The manor you walk through is the level that board builds.

Named at launch

Both the late-September roadmap post and the 8 Oct 2026 launch post use the same four names:

ThemeWhat the studio actually wrote
Haunted ManorOne of the four. No room list was attached.
JungleOne of the four. The store feature list also says the house has a jungle biome.
Icy MountainOne of the four. See the demo note below before you equate it with the Yeti Board.
DesertOne of the four. Not mentioned in the store’s three-biome sentence.

The launch post then says: survive the collection, defeat the Master Board. Patch V0.44.12 calls the same goal “beating the Game Master board.” This guide treats Master Board and Game Master board as one target, because that is how the two official texts line up. It does not have a separate rule sheet for that board.

What a board changes

Inside a board, the community guide says every roll can rearrange rooms and add a threat that stays. The first event is that board’s signature monster. Later events are the rhymes on Events. There is no official minimap legend to reproduce. Getting lost is a stated feature. Thread dice and, later, the Compass are the documented ways home.

V0.44.7 made quicksand less punishing and fixed map geometry. Quicksand is therefore a real hazard. The patch does not say which theme it belongs to, or how deep it is.

V0.44.13 says the game will never show two mystery boards at the same time. Mystery boards are otherwise undescribed in the notes this site has read. A player asking about missing rules N4 and N8, visible on the community hub in October 2026, is a reminder that the rule list in the client is larger than the public posts.

House Rules

House Rules are an official system. The launch post says they twist the usual rules and get less predictable as you go. Custom Mode lets you pick House Rules you have already unlocked. No announcement through V0.44.13 prints the full list of rule names.

Do not confuse that system with the dining-room note that is titled like a list of manners. That note is a puzzle prop. It is explained on Secrets.

Custom Mode

From Ludogram’s 17 Oct 2026 post, including the studio’s spelling:

  • Available after beating the Game Master board.
  • Pull the lever in the collection room.
  • Pick any unlocked board, house rule, or monster figurine.
  • No penalty for dying and no reward for winning. Win or lose, you return to your last round.

Use it to retry a monster you already own. Do not use it if you still need shop money. The collection room and the figurines are the closest thing the game has to a bestiary you fill yourself. Players covers why that is not a class system.

Still on the roadmap

The same launch post plans three more themes during Early Access: Abyss, Space, and a third with no name yet, plus more than ten new monsters. They are not in the game because they were announced.
